The food was absolutely delicious, especially the hearty steak pie and the full breakfast that kept me full all day! There's a lovely garden area perfect for relaxing with a drink, and the seating is cozy and inviting. The only small hiccup was the bed could use a bit more comfort to really shine, but overall it was a great stay! 😊

The toilet seat needed one hand to keep up, which added a layer of awkwardness to the experience. Breakfast was limited, offering just a full English or beans on toast, which felt a bit sparse for a hotel setting. Those seeking a vibrant nightlife or trendy drink selections might find the bar too quiet, although it aligns with the rural vibe. It would’ve been nice to have some more comfy seating in the bar area to relax after dinner.

I had a fantastic stay for 2 nights in a Double Room. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were accommodating, making special arrangements for my husband’s birthday. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend this place! 🎉

We found the room to be comfortable and spotlessly clean,, with a great selection of teas and coffees available. The food was freshly cooked, good ‘pub grub,’ and the breakfast was simply delicious, setting us up nicely for the day.
